Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
1. Who we are
The data controller is Lexvane Law Firm PLLC, Via Roma 12, 01100 Viterbo (VT), Italy. You can contact us about privacy matters at info@lexvanelawfirm.com.
2. What data we collect
- Information you give us, for example through the contact form, by email or by phone: your name, contact details and the information you share about your matter.
- Technical data that our hosting provider processes automatically when you visit the site, such as your IP address and browser type, used to deliver the website securely.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and take steps at your request before entering into an engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To provide legal services and meet our professional, tax and anti-money-laundering obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To keep our website secure and working properly (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.
4. Who we share it with
Your data is accessible only to our lawyers and staff, bound by professional secrecy, and to service providers who process it on our behalf (such as hosting and email providers) under appropriate data-processing agreements. Messages sent through our contact form are delivered to us via Cloudflare (hosting and spam protection) and Resend (email delivery). We share data with courts, authorities or other parties only where necessary to act for you or where required by law.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 12 months. Client files are retained for the period required by professional and legal obligations, after which they are securely destroyed.
6. Cookies and third-party content
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts and icons are served from our own server. The Google map on our contact page is loaded only if you click “Show map”; Google may then set cookies under its own privacy policy.
7. Your rights
Under Articles 15–22 GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email info@lexvanelawfirm.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
